When I saw this idea on the wonderful Pinterest I just had to try it.
Needless to say I definitely bit off more than I could chew but at the end it all worked out.
So this started out being a rug for the living area but 5 weeks went by and I was not even in the middle of the rug so I decided that this will now be a bath rug.
This was very time consuming but the end product was amazing and I love it.
Here is what you will need to create your own DIY bath rag rug:
- The material you will be using,a meter of each was enough here.I used 3 colours.
- a base for the rug ( you use it to put under a rug so it does not slide around, I do not know what you call it.)
- A needle or knitting pin of some sort
how to get started:
The concept is quite easy.
You cut the material in strips, which ever size you would like.
The strips of material then goes through the hole on top and again through another hole so you can tie a knot with your strip of material.
I kept open 2 spaces before adding another strip of material and 3 spaces before adding another row.
I was really happy with the outcome.
